Shabbytique started after I returned from living in the South of France for 12 years where i fell in love with local markets and brocantes. Having run a busy restaurant and finding myself as a single mother with a passion for up-cycling furniture and no where to sell it . Shabbytique arrivee!! Et viola!!
Shabbytique commenced in March 2014 with hosting a series of pop up Brocante fairs in the beautiful villages of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Each event was different.
A stunning collection of 25-40 stalls selling everything from beautiful antiques, gorgeous quality vintage clothing, quirky home and kitchen ware, shabby chic furniture, cosmetics, jewellery, handmade crafts and lots more.
Shabbytique have grown hugely in this time and have evolved to bring a hugely popular Street Market to their home town of Maidenhead Berkshire.
They have since teamed up with Eat on the High Street who provide high end quality Street Food stalls as well as creating a KIDs Yard with entertainment for the little ones
Local Musicians, Singers and Brewers come to showcase their talents and wares and have regular spots up and down the high street bringing a festival vibe
Shabbytique are proud to be offering local talent and entrepreneurs a chance to showcase themselves to the thousands of people who come to Maidenhead high street on the first Sunday of the month throughout the year..
I now have the pleasure of managing Ascot and Windsor Farmers markets for the Thames Valley Farmers market co-op.. this is a place where our local stalls can crossover giving an opportunity to all to showcase their local products all over the Royal Borough
In 2016 we teamed with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead creating the huge Wimbledon and her Majesty the Queens birthday celebrations on the high street
In July 2017 Shabbytique and Eat on the High street are collaborating with RBWM again to host Berkshires 1st Ever Gin festival GIN IN THE PARK
